Restructuring and new investments

Québec, June 12, 2018 – Souris Mini, a retailer and designer from Québec that specializes in kids’ clothing, is proud to announce that the first stage of its strategic plan was carried out with success. The plan aimed to reposition some of their business fields in order to meet their customer needs more efficiently. The restructuring process under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act is reaching towards the end.

In addition, two new investors from the Québec area joined the team. Mr. Michel Cadrin and Mr. Denis Dussault, two known business men that already have many companies operating in various fields of business, are now part of the Souris Mini journey. This collaboration will allow 240 jobs to be preserved in Québec, all while allowing the development of new projects for the company.

Souris Mini preserves 19 stores in Québec and will continue its growth on the web market, where more than 25% of its annual sales is made.

“Today, I am proud to confirm that Souris Mini has everything it needs to thrive in the current retail context. We are currently developing a 360 strategic plan that will allow us to optimize our business in order to be more competitive on the market. It is a major repositioning that will allow us to serve our customers better, all while offering a unique customer experience in our stores and online.”
- Annie Bellavance, founder president of Souris Mini
